  This week we talked about dating. Wow Dating what a subject. Now I attend Brigham Young University Idaho. It has a nickname. BYU I do. As in marriage. Because people sometimes get married very fast in this school. I am not married yet. My biggest goal is to be a father and husband. SO that means I need to get married and need to go on dates. And hey I have been on some dates. Yes Sirrr. What makes a good date though. Why date? How long should you be engaged? Is Cohabitation a Good Precursor to marriage. These are questions. Now with my biggest goal as it is I also have a fear of a failed marriage. To be fair Divorce rates are not the lowest ever. It is a very real and prevalent thing in and out of the church.   Hello Blog Readers of my Blog. This week was a week in my life. School is something else. Change is something else. Sometimes I feel on top of the moon. Other days it's not so much. That is to be human however. This class is called Family Relations. Family is so important to me. This week we talked a lot about Gender and Same-Sex Attraction. Look if I say anything offensive or hurtful. If I do, I am so sorry. That is not my goal. I want all people to know they are loved and appreciated.  We are all God’s Children. We all have infinite worth regardless of what people say. Gender. What a subject. We mostly talked about Gender Roles. Look I love family, For me it is important that everyone feels loved and appreciated. Children, Guardian, Spouse. Everyone deserves to be loved and taken care of. And being taken care of takes some monetary value. Traditionally it was the man of the house who would go out into the workforce and the mother would stay home. And hey if that works then...

  Diversity is amazing. Can you imagine if we all looked and talked the same. That would be so boring and uninspired. Thankfully our Heavenly parents Made us different and unique.  Of course with Diversity we also have the sin of racism. Racism is so clearly against the will of God. Anyone who thinks they are superior to someone because of their race or sexual orientation or gender of money making is wrong. Dead wrong. God wants us to be ourselves. That's Why he made us US. As a missionary I would say the lord didn't call you to be perfect he called you to be you. Who you are is who you are supposed to be. So when someone ridicules or any form of discrimination or abuse just remember you are God's child and you are who you are meant to be.  With Diversity we also have different cultures.   Hello fellow people. What a week it has been. Some of you may be wondering where this title comes from. Well in the 90’s I believe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were releasing ads which showed a little video of a family and then sometimes at the end it would ask “ Family isn’t it about time?”.  As a missionary I watched a lot of them. They are amusing.  Well this week in my family relations class we discussed roles in families. Like what roles we get put upon or get chosen to be. For example, back during Covid I felt pretty crappy. I was a senior in high school and the world was falling apart. It was trash. But one thing I could do was clean the kitchen. So at like 2 AM when I was watching movies or playing video games or watching TV I would clean the kitchen to make my mom happy. I couldn't do a lot but that I could do.   Hello Friend's. This is my first official Blog Post. Yes I am Blogging. This is for my family relation's class, a class in which we discuss different things that may be a challenge to families and other subjects surrounding the idea of family. Now my biggest goal in life is to be a husband and father. That's it for me. It was a major reason I went on my voluntary Proselytizing mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. To be a better future husband and father. I would say it worked. I got a Number #1 Dad shirt on the mission so yeah I would say it worked.  But what have I been learning these first few weeks back at college and more specifically in my Family Relation's class.
